Pet Rats
So I just want to take a moment to say that Chuck, my current pet rat (previous feeder rat) is the most precious baby in the world. I never thought he’d end up being as affectionate as he is. Sometimes he acts like it is his mission in life to sit on my shoulder and absolutely nothing will stop him. Sometimes if I stand by his cage long enough he will get out and try to climb up my shirt, or at least start pulling on it (I tend to keep the cage open during the day).
He is so unlike his tank mate (because getting them as pets was rather sudden and I didn’t actually get the chance to get them a real cage.. so yeah… they live in a tank that was the previous domicile of a turtle) Reid. Chuck is very clingy, likes to stay close to me if he can, it seems where as Reid likes to explore, doesn’t like to be handled as much, and really likes to pull on my hair.
They are just so precious, though. My little ratty babies.
Reid also likes to try to type on my computer and play with my phone sometimes… because, ya know, he’s a genus.
And Chuck is a prophet.
